First popping up in the 1930s this little whiskey cocktail is pretty refreshing. A popular substitute for grenadine in this cocktail is normal old raspberry syrup like you would find in the pancake section of a grocery store. If you don’t have raspberry syrup you can use grenadine but that’s up to you.
- 60 mls (2 oz) Bourbon
- 30 mls (1 oz) Grapefruit Juice
- 5 mls (1 tsp) Raspberry Syrup
Combine all ingredients in the shaker. Add ice to the shaker. Vigorously shake till the shaker is ice cold and frosted. Strain into glass to remove ice shards
ABV = 25%
