Ingredients

  • Essence of Star Anise
  • 1 oz 30 Everclear 95%

  • 0.3 tsp 1.5 ml Star Anise Oil

  • Essence of Wintergreen
  • 1 oz 30 Everclear 95%

  • 0.3 tsp 1.5 ml Pure Wintergreen Oil

  • Sarsaparilla Syrup Ingredients
  • 3 cups 600 g White Sugar

  • 14 oz 400 ml Hot Water

  • 1 tsp 5 ml Caramel Color

  • 0.2 tsp 1 ml Essence of Star Anise

  • 0.1 tsp 0.5 ml Essence of Wintergreen

Directions

  • Wintergreen Essence Instructions
  • In a glass jar, combine a high-proof neutral spirit and wintergreen oil. Blend the oil and ethanol mixture.
  • Star Anise Essence Instructions
  • In a glass jar, combine a high-proof neutral spirit and star anise oil. Blend the oil and ethanol mixture.
  • Sarsaparilla Syrup Instructions
  • In a large, heat-resistant mixing bowl, combine white sugar and warmed water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add caramel coloring, and flavor essences. Stir to combine.
