Martinez Cocktail | Classic Pre-Prohibition Recipe

This drink is amazing and I think one of the best of the old-time cocktails. The only thing this and the present day one have in common is the sweet vermouth, every other ingredient in this was replaced or left out. The sweet martini would eventually branch off from this cocktail when someone thought to use London Dry Gin instead of Old Tom Gin.
